The BAT Vanguard in Nigeria has expressed confidence in the political and societal acceptance of the running mate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election, Kashim Shettima.
The Converner of the political organisation put in place to drum support for the candidacy of the former Governor of Lagos State, Hon. Sola Olofin who spoke with newsmen in Abuja emphasized that Shettima’s administrative dexterity as well as the impact of his administration as Governor of Borno State will attract victory to APC in the 2023 elections.
In his words, “our Victory is here. Congratulations to Senator Kashim Shettima who has displayed a high degree of commitment to development of Nigeria and the unity of the citizens”.
“We received the news of his emergence as the Vice Presidential Candidate of our party with immense joy in our heart. It gives us more joy to learn of his person, and what he stands for. Uprightness, competence and hardwork as a committed and patriotic Nigerian. We can only rejoice, because our country has been set on the right path with him on the ticket” ,Olofin stated.
“Congratulations to him and the APC family for having a personality like former Governor Shettima to run with our great leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, the BAT Vanguard Convener stressed.
