EKITI COUNCIL BOSS ADEBUSUYI ATTRIBUTES APC VICTORY TO OYEBANJI’S LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
The Acting Chairman of Ekameta Local Council Development Authority in Ekiti State, HON(Chief) Ebenezer Adebusuyi, FCPA has joined the numerous individuals both local and abroad to justify the victory recorded by the All Progressives Congress candidate in the just concluded Presidential election, President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Hon. Adebusuyi who was speaking with newsmen in Erijiyan-Ekiti attributed the success recorded to the performance of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the last few months in office.
According to him, restoration of light to the area as against what the people of Ikogosi, Erijiyan-Ekiti and other towns had witnessed in the past played a major role in the election.
Adebusuyi emphasized that rebranding and renovation of the globally-recognised Ikogosi Warm Spring has attracted tourists, employment generation as well as tourism development to the state.
The Acting Chairman stated that the rehabilitation of roads in the area also played significant roles in the election with the pragmatic approach put in place by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
This, he stated wouldn’t have been possible without the involvement and commitment of the elders in the LCDA who had been patriotic in the affairs of the area.
“I want to acknowledge the Ekameta Elders Council led by Pa Yemi Alade who has continued to create a rallying point for issues that affect our people, irrespective of social or political background and we promise to keep creating an enabling environment for them so that we can continue to benefit from their wealth of experience”, the Acting Chairman stated.
“It’s also a great honour and privilege to appreciate the Special Adviser to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Political Affairs, Chief Jide Awe whose political administrative dexterity greatly imparted positively on our campaigns and eventually the election”, Adebusuyi emphasized.
