BURIAL RITES OF MAMA JANET OLUWAFUNMILAYO AKINOLA COMMENCE IN ADO-EKITI WITH DISPLAY OF CULTURE AS FAMILY ANNOUNCES BURIAL DATES
It was a display of culture and tradition at the Egbewa residence of Mama Janet Funmilayo Akinola in Ado-Ekiti as family members gathered to begin burial rites of their departed matriarch.
The young and old were involved in rendition of various cultural songs that depicted the level at which they are missing their loved one.
The children of the deceased led by the international business mogul, Bisi Akinola popularly known as ‘Bisime’ and the renowned auto dealer, Banji Akinola popularly known as ‘Ameme Super’ participated in the cultural songs and dance.
They moved round the premises and in and out of their late mother’s apartment and danced to show that they are missing the popular business woman and trader.
Information gathered by Naijaparrots showed that it’s a normal tradition to honour any of their loved ones that passes on to glory.
In an interview with Mr. Bisi Akinola popularly known as ‘Bisime’, he described his mother as someone who had always been conscious of her family and children, noting that she paid the price for them to be where they are today.
Similarly, Banji Akinola popularly known as ‘Ameme Super’ said his mother remains his idol, considering the various Interventionist impacts she had in his life.
Meanwhile, the family has fixed July 20th and 21st, 2023 for the main burial arrangements as other details would be released in due course.
