JUNE 12: EKITI APC LEADER, DELE PHILIPS EXPRESSES HOPE OF BETTER NIGERIA
A former House of Representatives hopeful in Ekiti State on the platform of All Progressives Congress, Mr. Dele Philips has expressed hope of a greater and better Nigeria.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Iyiola Adetola, the APC chieftain commended the heroes of democracy across the country for their struggles which culminated in the progress the people are witnessing today.
Philips who attempted to represent the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 comprising Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas in the last general elections also commended Nigerians for their resilience since the advent of the current democratic dispensation.
The APC leader noted that the process has been challenging but rewarding, adding that with further commitment and determination the birth of a new Nigeria of our dream is imminent.
Philips expressed confidence in the ability of President Bola Tinubu to midwife a better Nigeria where democracy dividends will be enjoyed by all.
He rallied support of the citizenry for the government to realize its dream of making life worth living for all.
The APC leader reflected on the various achievements being recorded by Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the last few months, describing the unusual Interventions as symbols of great hope for Ekiti land and her people.
Philips analysed the volume of infrastructural as well as tourism development, noting the human capacity development being prioritized by the governor.
He called on the people of Ekiti State to continue to support the Oyebanji administration to keep justifying the confidence reposed in the leadership.
