ONDO N-SIP FOCAL PERSON, ADEMOSU HAILS OORELOPE-ADEFULIRE’S REAPPOINTMENT AS SSA TO PRESIDENT ON SDGs
The Focal Person of the National Social Investment Programme in Ondo State, Dr.(Mrs) Olubunmi Ademosu has hailed the reappointment of Princess Adejoke Oorelope-Adefulire as the Senior Special Assistant to President on Sustainable Development Goals.
Ademosu who made this known in a statement issued in Akure on Friday said the development is a confirmation of the giant strides recorded in terms of human and community development during her first tenure.
According to her, the former Lagos deputy governor applied total commitment to the task of reducing poverty as well as increasing standard of living of people both in the rural areas and semi-urban areas.
Ademosu who also doubles as the Special Adviser to Governor on Public and Intergovernmental Relations stated that Ondo State has also benefitted from the sustainable development goals as schools and communities were touched.
In her words, “while Princess Adejoke Oorelope-Adefulire served in the first tenure, I can attest to the fact that many of our schools wore a new look to compliment efforts of the state government while sanitation facilities were provided.”
“It is on record that the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Skill Acquisition Center in Ile-Oluji has imparted positively on the youths in the area while those constructed and equipped in other senatorial districts have played significant roles in achieving the poverty reduction target of the SDGs”, she stressed.
Ademosu emphasized that the 100-bed General Hospital in Ifon in Ose local government area of the state has equally complimented Governor Akeredolu’s health care policy which is felt in the 18 local government areas of the state.
“It is my hope and belief that her reappointment would go a long way in consolidating on the achievements she has recorded. I use this medium to pray for more wisdom and knowledge as she forges ahead in this national assignment”, Ademosu added.
