On August 11, 2024, at Williams’ Hall, Igbokoda, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa officially welcomed Hon. Kolade Victor Akinjo, former member of the House of Representatives, along with hundreds of other leaders who recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the APC-ILAJE GENERAL MEETING.
Earlier, former Commissioner Chief Lebi Adepiti and former Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) Chief Debo Ajimuda led approximately 500 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the APC.
This event highlights the ongoing success of the APC in the state. The meeting also provided the Governor with an opportunity to hear the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
The Governor reiterates his administration’s commitment to ensuring good governance and expresses gratitude to the leaders and members of the APC in Ilaje Local Government for their steadfast dedication to the party’s growth and development.
The influx of members from opposition parties into the APC is both exciting and overwhelming, and underscores the APC’s strong position ahead of the November 16, 2024, Governorship Election in the state.
