NASRDA DIRECTOR, DR. FELIX ALE FELICITATES INTERIOR MINISTER TUNJI-OJO AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNTERPART AYO OLAWANDE
The Director of Media and Corporate Communications in Nigeria Space Research and Development Agency, Dr Felix Ale has described the retention and elevation of the two members of the Federal Executive Council as a result of hardwork and dedication to duty.
The former Minister of State for Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande was elevated as substantive Minister of Youth Development while his counterpart in the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was retained in his position.
This was part of the decisions made public after the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council held in Abuja and presided over by President Bola Tinubu.
While Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo hails from OkeAgbe in Akoko North East local government area, Ayodele Olawande is from Akure South, the Ondo state capital.
In his response to the development, the NASRDA Director of Media and Corporate Communications, Dr. Felix Ale said the two ministers have proven their worth as focused and hardworking public officers who apply logics and maturity towards successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Tinubu-led administration.
The Oka-Akoko – born communication expert in a statement said the ministers succeeded in turning around their ministries as government programmes and policies are endeared to the ordinary man on the street as well as the primary targets of the interventionist programmes.
In his words, “anyone who has been monitoring the events in government since October last year would agree with me that the ministry of interior we knew has changed from what it used to be while a high degree of reorientation has taken place among Nigerian youths as Olawande keeps meeting them across the country.”
“While I will use this medium to underline the fact that this is the first time Ondo State will have two substantive Ministers in an administration, the duo of energetic and forward-looking Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Ayodele Olawande have done our people proud by displaying a high degree of commitment to the assignment given to them by the President.”
Dr. Ale emphasized that the development underscores the level of recognition the President has for the people of Ondo State and urged the people to translate the honour and trust into massive votes for the APC candidate in the fast-approaching governorship election in November.
“I urge my people in Oka-Akoko, Akoko South West local government area and the entire state to reciprocate President Bola Tinubu’s trust and recognition by voting massively for the incumbent , Lucky Aiyedatiwa next month”, Dr. Ale added.
