WHY I AM CANVASSING VOTES FOR AIYEDATIWA – AGBAKA OF ALAGBAKA, AFOLABI OBASUYI
The Agbaka of Alagbaka in Akure South local government area of Ondo State has joined the voices canvassing votes for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming governorship election, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The Agbaka who was speaking with newsmen at his palace at Alagbaka in Akure said the incumbent remains the best alternative among all those showing interest in the number one seat in the state.
The traditional authority who stated that he is a card-carrying and financial member of the All Progressives Congress said his decision was taken having realised the administrative dexterity of the governor and his commitment to good governance.
Agbaka Obasuyi stated that apart from emphasising infrastructural provision, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa prioritises human and societal development.
He said in less than one year that the governor took over the leadership of the state, notable developments are already being witnessed, noting that such gives hope that the state would be better developed if he is allowed to continue in office.
In his words, “without mincing words, I am a bonafide, financial and card-carrying member of the All Progressives Congress and I will not leave the party for anything.”
“My candidate and our candidate, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa is a brother and friend of mine as well as a good listener and I can tell you that since he has been at the saddle, he has done it right.”
“The most important thing is that he has listening ears. He is not autocratic and he is a very democratic person. If I call him now and say this is what my people need, he will respond immediately,”Agbaka Obasuyi stressed.
“I am assuring my people both in Alagbaka here and other areas of the state where I have my followers that whatever we need from the governor, he will do”, the traditional authority stated.
Obasuyi therefore urged the people on Ondo State in general to come out enmasse and vote for APC and its candidate on November 16th for continuity of good governance in the state.
