Members of RUGIPO/OSPO Alumni Association, Akure Chapter has thrown their weight behind the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Akure South local government, Dr. Gbenga Fasua in the forthcoming local government election in Ondo State.
This was observed during a courtesy visit to Dr. Fasua in Akure where the executive members of the alumni association were led by the Chairman, Engr. Samuel Adeoye Beremoye.
The Alumni Association chairman thanked God for the opportunity to come together in support of a member who has always justified the confidence reposed in him as a council boss as well as a strong member of the association.
Beremoye extended sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for endorsing Dr.Gbenga FASUA as the APC candidate for Akure South in the forthcoming election.
Engr. Beremoye therefore passionately pleaded with all members of the association to support Dr. Fasua, emphasizing his credentials as a “tested and trusted” leader.
The Chairman assured Hon. Gbenga Fasua of the association’s full support before, during, and after the election, expressing confidence that his leadership would bring positive changes to the local government.
Similarly, the secretary of the association, Engr. Bankole Komolafe also shared his thoughts and spoke highly of Dr. Fasua’s leadership, having worked closely with him in the past.
He praised the candidate’s leadership style, emphasizing his ability to effectively manage and lead with integrity.
Remarks from the Public Relations Officer, Prince Odunayo Adebowale
In the same vein, the Public Relations Officer, Prince Odunayo Adebowale, congratulated Dr. Fasua on his candidacy and offered words of encouragement.
He specifically commended Dr. Fasua’s remarkable performance as the Caretaker Chairman of Akure South Local Government, noting his impressive leadership and good governance witnessed during the period.
In his response, the Director-General of Dr. Gbenga Fasua Campaign Team, Hon.Yinka Akosile, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit and the support shown by the RUGIPO/OSPO Alumni Association.
Akosile thanked the association for its encouragement and unwavering belief in Hon. Gbenga Fasua’s potentials.
