The various contributions of the former Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye to human and societal development have attracted recognition from an international media organisation.
It’s the conferment of Female Role Model Award on the woman who has played significant roles in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.
The Award of Excellence held in Akure the Ondo State capital is an initiative of Hero International Magazine led by the Publisher and the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Sunday Akinbiola.
The award of excellence is a celebration of Dr. Osamaye’s leadership qualities which has influenced good governance in Ondo State and beyond.
Receiving the award, Osamaye who is also the Convener of O’Datiwa Women Initiatives with members across the 18 local government areas, she described the honour as a challenge to do more.
In her words, “I see this recognition as a gesture to appreciate all I been doing in the Sunshine State and an avenue to spur me to continue the good works”.
The event also saw the Governor of Ondo State decorated as the Ondo State Man of the Year and Southwest Governor of the Year.
This, according to the organisers was as a result of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to good governance and societal development.
