Governor Aiyedatiwa has commended the First Lady, her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for the positive impact of the Renewed Hope Initiative in Ondo State. The initiative, which focuses on empowering families and individuals, has been making waves across the country.
The governor also congratulated Mrs Tade Wemimo, the winner of the Every Home A Garden competition, an initiative under the Renewed Hope Initiative that aims to promote urban agriculture and provide opportunities for women to develop their skills and generate income.
The Renewed Hope Initiative has been supporting women farmers through various programs, including the Agricultural Support Programme, which was launched in the South West Zone of Nigeria. The initiative also collaborates with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to empower potential farmers, with a focus on young female farmers.

– Inauguration of Skill Acquisition Center for Women: A center dedicated to providing women with vocational skills and training, enabling them to become economically independent.
The launch of the RHI/Federal Ministry of Agriculture Women Agricultural Support Program (WASP) which is training and empowerment of Ondo State Women to increased food security.
– Launch of The RHI/Federal Ministry Of Agriculture Young Farmers Club An Initiative for Secondary Schools: An initiative aimed at promoting agriculture and entrepreneurship among secondary school students, with a focus on young farmers.
These initiatives align with the Ministry’s mandate to promote gender equality, empower women, and support the development of marginalized groups.
