
PAN AFRICAN LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM TO HONOUR OLUBAKA OBA ADEBORI ADELEYE WITH COMMANDER OF PEACE AWARD
…Traditional ruler to also speak on the Role Of Traditional Institutions in Enhancing Peaceful Coexistence In Africa
The Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr) Yusuf Adebori Adeleye OON, JP is set to be honoured with an award of Commander of Peace(COP) at the 14th Edition of Pan African Leadership Symposium and Honours.
The event slated for Nigerian Institute of International Affairs is scheduled for Saturday April 5th, 2025.
According to a statement made public by the UNIPGC Global President and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, His Excellency, Ambassador(Dr) Jonathan Ojadah, the event is proudly endorsed by former Vice President of Liberia Dr. Jewel Taylor who is presently the Matron of UNIPGC Africa and former member of the German Parliament, Hon. Kevin Uguru who is also the Secretary-General of of UNIPGC in Europe.
The PAN AFRICAN PEACE AWARD (PAPA) recognizes outstanding African leaders and individuals who have significantly contributed to peace dialogues, conflict resolution, grassroots development, and youth and women empowerment, recognition for their impact on governance, innovation, and socioeconomic development.
The statement says the Olubaka of Oka-Akoko was selected following his outstanding contributions to human and societal development as well as peaceful coexistence.
