CONGRATULATIONS TO A BIRTHDAY ‘BOY’ AND MEDIA ICON, DR FELIX ALE ON THE OCCASION OF HIS BIRTHDAY
Today will again be a very unique and celebration moment for a Media Icon and very distinguished son of Ondo State, Dr Felix Ale as the management and staff of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) in their usual way will rise in Ale’s honor to celebrate his birthday in appreciation of his unique contributions to the development and promotion of space science and technology in Nigeria and African space ecosystem in general.
Family, Friends and well wishers will not be left out on this glorious day as Dr Felix Ale is a jolly good fellow and great man of the people.
The Media Icon is no doubt a household name in the field of Journalism, Corporate Communications as well as Space Science and Technology in Nigeria and Africa.
He is indeed an excellent professional with inspiring records of robust and broad based experience as well as exemplary focus of discipline, humility and selfless services.
The NASRDA Director of Media and Corporate Communications has defined himself as a strong, indefatigable and committed communication strategist and scholar with indelible footprint that will continue to stand the test of time in his chosen career and human society.
Dr Felix Ale who hails from Oka-Akoko in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo State started his journalism career in the Sunshine State where his golden voice dominated the airwaves on both radio and television as one of the star reporters and prominent journalists at the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation(OSRC).
In recognition of his enviable track record of professional excellence, the then famous Felix Ale of OSRC NEWS emerged on two consecutive occasions as JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR in Ondo State and was duly honored and celebrated by the Ondo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists with presentation of its Professional Merit awards respectively.
Felix Ale served meritoriously in different divisions of the News and Current Affairs of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation and was later posted to the Ondo State Government House as Press Attache during which he served two Military Governors in the Sunshine State – Colonel Ahmed Usman and Navy Captain Anthony Ibe Onyearugbulem respectively.
In the wake of the current political dispensation, Felix Ale was appointed Chief Press Secretary by the then Executive Governor of Ondo State, Chief Adebayo Adefarati during which he again brought to bear his high level of professionalism to carve a niche himself as a tested and brilliant journalist.
Aside his current position as the Pioneer Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria (NASRDA), Dr Felix Ale remains one of the outstanding Science Communication Experts and Scholars in Africa and belongs to various professional associations and bodies across the globe.
In recognition of his professional excellence and research contributions as a media Scholar, Dr Felix Ale was appointed in 2021 as one of the advisory councillors in the School of Communication of the GD Goenka University, India to advance the media and Communication education cum research for the famous University.
As a way of giving back to his profession and society, Dr Felix Ale among other things has been the sole sponsor of different categories of merit awards of the Ondo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, including Best Broadcast Journalist of the Year, Best Print Journalist of the year and Most outstanding Veteran Journalist of the Year.
Dr Felix Ale has delivered various lectures across the globe and has numerous research publications and books to his credit in both local and international journals.
He is a distinguished member of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Public Relations Society of America, World Federation of Science Writers Association, Science Writers and Communicators of Canada among others.
As the illustrious son of the Sunshine State again celebrates his birthday, we heartily rejoice with him, wish him good health and many more glorious years of ground breaking achievements in life.
