
LAGOS SHIFTS DATE FOR OGUDU-OWORONSHOKI BRIDGE REPAIR, TRAFFIC DIVERSION
The Lagos State Government on Friday announced that the traffic diversion planned for the repair of the Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge has been rescheduled.
The state Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this in a statement issued to journalists in Lagos.
Osiyemi stated that a new date for the repair works and traffic diversion would be announced in due course.
“The state government remains committed to ensuring public safety and minimal disruption during infrastructure upgrades.
“We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the bridge repair was initially scheduled to begin on May 13 and end on September 23.
