
OBA ADEYEMO ADEJUGBE SET TO INSTALL BUSAYO FALEYE AS BARADAGBA OF ADO-EKITI
…Event slated for Thursday May 29 at Ewi’s Palace expected to attract traditional authorities as well as members of Baradagba Dynasty from within and outside the state
All is now set for the Installation of a new Baradagba of Ado-Ekiti by the Ewi, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, Aladesanmi lll.
The new traditional chief to be installed is Mr. Busayo Joshua Faleye, a son of Oluwasola Faleye in the Baradagba Dynasty of the Ekiti State capital.
The event is slated for Thursday May 29, 2025 at the Palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti where traditional authorities from within and outside the state capital are expected to be in attendance.
The members and elders of the Baradagba Dynasty have since formed a formidable front to ensure that the event is not only successful but also to restore the recognition and honour the family as well as the Chieftaincy title attracts in the ancient town.
This has since been propelled by prominent sons and daughters who include but not limited to distinguished Senator Babafemi Ojudu, legal practitioner, Gbenga Babawibe and community leader Mr. Mustapha Bello popularly known as ‘Sayee’.
Naija Parrots gathered that the Baradagba Chieftaincy title of Ado-Ekiti has been vacant for over 4 decades.
Meanwhile, reports also have it that the family has embarked on the process of reconstructing the palace court as part of the plans to ensure that the family takes it pride of place in the comity of traditional institutions in Ado-Ekiti and Ekiti State in general.
