
ONDO SOCU CHARGES FIELD OFFICERS ON DATA ACCURACY IN NIN INTEGRATION

The Ondo State Operations Coordinating Unit (SOCU), in its commitment to delivering an error-free Single Register and inclusive Social Protection data, has emphasized the importance of upholding data integrity across all processes.
The SOCU Coordinator, Olaoluwa Bankole Esq, made this statement during a one-day review meeting between SOCU and its Facilitators and enumerators in Akure on 26th May 2025.
Bankole stated that the meeting was necessary to monitor the progress of work and provide technical support where necessary to the Field team members.
He reiterated that the essence of the Social Register integration with NIN is to ensure that individuals who have already been captured in the Social Register are linked with their National Identity Number.
Stressing the need for ownership by stakeholders, he enjoined the officers to brief their Principals at all the Local Government Areas throughout the course of the integration and update exercise.
The State Coordinator emphasized the place of Data integrity and enjoined the Field team to follow the Data Protocol as laid down for seamless exercise.
A presentation was made on the status of the update reflecting work done so far and the need to put in more effort for optimum delivery of the Update Exercise in Ondo State within the time assigned for the exercise.
Participants at the review meeting appreciated SOCU for the support given so far, acknowledging SOCU’s efforts in making the job easier despite how demanding it is.
They promised to put in their best and ensure that at every stage of the exercise, the integrity of the data is not compromised.
