
INDUSTRIAL ACTION: ONDO CHIEF JUDGE ODUSOLA URGES JUSUN MEMBERS TO EMBRACE DIALOGUE
The Ondo State Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola has appealed to the leadership of JUSUN in the state to adopt dialogue and constructive engagement over the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by the members.
In a statement, the Chief Registrar of the state High Court of Justice, Ayodeji Akinsanya said the dialogue with the Government will serve as a means of finding an amicable and timely resolution to the crisis.
The Hon. Chief Judge urged the Union to consider the wider implications of the strike on justice delivery and the public.
Odusola appealed to members of the public for continued patience and understanding during the challenging period and expressed optimism that normalcy would soon return to the courts.
He reiterated the critical role of the Judiciary in upholding the rule of law, maintaining order, and safeguarding the peace and stability of the state.
The Chief Judge also stressed the need for the justice system to continue discharging its constitutional responsibilities without hindrance.
While JUSUN reaffirmed its demand for the full implementation of the 2015 Memorandum of Understanding, the Hon. Chief Judge urged the Union to consider the wider implications of the strike on justice delivery and the public.

There had been a meeting between the Hon. Chief Judge and Officials of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Ondo State Branch on 19th June 2025
