OLUMUYIWA ADU CONGRATULATES APC ON VICTORIES IN OFF- CYCLE ELECTIONS
Dr (Barr.) Olumuyiwa Adu (Cubana) has congratulated the All Progressives Congress ( APC) on the recorded victories in the bye- elections conducted in 16 Constituencies across 12 states on Saturday, 16th August, 2025.
In a press statement made available to the Press through his Media Council, the Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful and respected Philanthropist praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the Leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) under the new Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the APC Governors, party leaders and other stakeholders over the successful and morale -boosting outings.
The breakdown of the results revealed that All Progressives Congress (APC) won 12 Constituencies, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won one constituency, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won two Constituencies while New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) won one constituency, dispelling the rumour that is being woven around President Tinubu about his plans to turn Nigeria into one party state.
“The electorate clearly confessed their preferences and sentiments as reflected in the voting patterns across the twelve states where the off -cycle elections were conducted under free, fair and transparent atmospheres.
“The overall results of these democratic exercises have similarly confirmed the popularity of the ruling party in Nigeria and the acceptability of its candidates as a political platform that remains formidable ahead of the 2027 general elections”. Dr Adu further stated.
Lauding the state and non -state actors for the conduct of these electoral contests with appreciable levels of decency and professionalism, Dr Adu urged Nigerians to continue to support the transformative visions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda that has stabilized the economy in the wake of massive infrastructural development, improved social welfare, increased allocations, job creation and enhanced economy.
