ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED HEADS OF SERVICE AND PERMANENT SECRETARIES FELICITATES AIYEDATIWA OVER SUPREME COURT VICTORY
The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ondo State has hailed the victory recorded recently by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court had dismissed the appeal by the PDP Governorship Candidate, Agboola Ajayi after the withdrawal of the case by the candidate.
In a statement, signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mrs Julie Fayehun, the Association described the victory as a plus for democracy and recognition of the rule of law.
The retired technocrats stressed that the outcome of the matter signifies the confirmation of the overwhelming victory by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the All Progressives Congress at the governorship polls.
They said the Governor would now focus more on governance and provision of more infrastructure for the people as against the distractions witnessed due to the legal tussle.
They urged public servants and the people of Ondo State in general to continue to support the Governor to enable him deliver on his promises.
