2027: TINUBU’S RE-ELECTION IS ASSURED IN ONDO STATE – SAMUEL AJAYI
Hon. Samuel Ajayi, an aspirant in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly primaries for the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and a chieftain of the party in Ondo State has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will record a resounding victory in Ondo State in the 2027 presidential election.
Reacting to comments made by a fellow aspirant during an appearance on national television, Hon. Ajayi described the remarks as unfortunate, misleading, and inconsistent with the political realities in Ondo State. He said remaining silent would amount to a disservice to the APC and its supporters.
According to him, the comments do not reflect the widespread support President Tinubu enjoys in the state. He added that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has produced visible and impactful achievements that continue to improve the lives of Nigerians.
Hon. Ajayi cited the ongoing Ore-Benin Expressway dualisation project and the appointment of qualified Ondo State indigenes into key federal positions as evidence of the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and inclusive governance.
He also commended Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for what he described as exceptional leadership and unprecedented development across the state’s 18 local government areas. He specifically highlighted the ongoing road projects in Ifedore Local Government Area as proof of the governor’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy.
Hon. Ajayi said the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Aiyedatiwa have strengthened public confidence in the APC and positioned the party for another convincing victory in Ondo State.
He added that President Tinubu’s re-election would provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms and expand the developmental gains already being recorded.
“The people of Ondo State appreciate purposeful leadership, measurable development, and visionary governance,” Hon. Ajayi said. “With the achievements already recorded under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, complemented by the outstanding performance of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, I am confident the President will secure an overwhelming mandate in Ondo State in 2027.
Our collective focus should be on consolidating these achievements and expanding development for the benefit of future generations.”
Hon. Ajayi reaffirmed his commitment to the All Progressives Congress and pledged to continue mobilising support across Ondo State to ensure President Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 presidential election.
