PDP STAKEHOLDERS ENDORSE OLUYEDE’S OPARHA, HAIL GRASSROOTS STRATEGY FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION
The Concerned PDP Stakeholders Forum, Ekiti State, has endorsed the planned launch of the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda (OPARHA) by Dr. Oluwole Oluyede, describing the initiative as a strategic grassroots mobilisation platform capable of strengthening support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement signed by its Convener, Elder Ibikunle Martins, the forum said Dr. Oluyede has once again demonstrated exceptional political foresight, courage and organisational capacity through the establishment of OPARHA.
According to the group, the initiative is a masterclass in strategic grassroots mobilisation and a clear demonstration of Dr. Oluyede’s unwavering commitment to progressive leadership and national development.
The forum recalled that Dr. Oluyede played a pioneering role in the South West Agenda (SWAGA), one of the earliest political movements that mobilised widespread support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the beginning of his presidential ambition.
“Dr. Oluwole Oluyede has consistently distinguished himself as a grassroots political organiser with remarkable vision. His contributions through SWAGA helped galvanise support for the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and today he has once again shown strategic foresight with the establishment of OPARHA.
“The decision to structure OPARHA across the 16 local government areas and the 177 political wards in Ekiti State reflects a deep understanding of grassroots politics. It is a people-driven initiative designed to ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches every community across the state.”
The forum stated that effective political leadership is built on sustained grassroots engagement, loyalty, inclusiveness and strategic planning, adding that OPARHA provides a credible platform for mobilising citizens in support of national development.
It noted that the movement would further strengthen public participation in governance while creating a stronger support base for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The group commended Dr. Oluyede for his consistency in progressive politics and expressed confidence that OPARHA would become a formidable grassroots platform for political mobilisation and civic engagement throughout Ekiti State.
The forum also called on political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and progressive-minded citizens to support initiatives that promote unity, peace and development, irrespective of political affiliation.
It maintained that collaboration among leaders with a shared vision for the progress of Ekiti State and Nigeria remains the surest path to sustainable development and political stability.
The Concerned PDP Stakeholders Forum reaffirmed its commitment to democratic ideals, peaceful political engagement and responsible leadership, expressing optimism that OPARHA would make a significant contribution to consolidating grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda across Ekiti State.
