Most people in Ondo State didn’t know what he could deliver until he had the opportunity to occupy strategic position of the Chief of Staff to former Governor Olusegun Agagu in 2003.
On his assumption of duty in June 2003, he called a meeting of all staff of the governor’s office and intimated them on what to do to complement the efforts of the new leadership in the state to achieve set objectives and goals.
He was actually prepared for the job and all his inputs played significant roles in effecting the realisation of the dreams of the former Governor Olusegun Agagu.
He was not only carrying all stakeholders along, Pastor Femi Agagu was like a bridge between the civil servants working with the Governor and the government.
The results of this was basically more productivity and efficient service delivery.
After leaving office as Chief of Staff, he was still in touch with people who worked with him to ensure that he remained as humble as he was, and he is even till this day.
It is a great honour and privilege to reflect on the Church Service to mark his 60th birthday in LAGOS celebrated at the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Lagos Island.
It was a glorious outing presided over by an Assistant General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor J.T. Kalejaye.
The man of God emphasized the place of political leaders in championing the aspirations of the people as well as the hope they have in government for provision of social amenities.
The eloquent and cerebral Pastor Kalejaye appreciated God in the life of our birthday ‘boy’, Pastor Femi Agagu who was committed to the dreams and goals of the government he served while his roles in the church did not suffer.
And now that Pastor Femi Agagu is celebrating another birthday as Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in Ondo State, friends, family members as well as associates are appreciating God for equipping the Iju Odo- born community leader for the various roles he has been playing in their lives and that of the communities.
As we celebrate Pastor Femi Agagu on his birthday, we pray that heavens will keep presiding over your affairs.
He will promote all that concerns you and create enabling environment for your family and personal concerns to thrive.
