All roads will lead to Ondo City next weekend for the home-going of Late Pa Jerome Kehinde Olabode, Baba JK.
According to the burial arrangements made public by the family, the celebration of life of the community leader popularly known as ‘Down Below’ will commence on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 with Service of Songs by 5.00pm at his residence, No. 11 Oluwatoyin Street, Off Baptist Road, NEPA, Ondo.
The funeral service is slated for Friday, July 31st, 2026 at Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Akinjagunla, Ondo-City.
Entertainment of guests will eventually held at Alpha Presidential Event Center, Sabo, Ore Road, Ondo-City.
The event is expected to attract boardroom executives, captains of industry, political and community leaders as well as well-wishers from within and outside the state.
In a chat with one of the children of the passionate community development strategist, Mr. Wale Olabode, he told Naijaparrots.com that the family has put in place all required structures and processes to ensure a befitting home-going for their late father.
He said components of the celebration had been structured to provide adequate security of lives and property while professionals have been engaged to ensure hitch-free event.
Late Pa Jerome Kehinde Olabode, Baba JK popularly known as ‘Down Below’ passed on at age 90.
