Gunmen Kill Driver In Ondo as Whereabouts Of Passengers Unknown

Gunmen suspected to be herders have killed a middle aged driver, Toyin Mala in Akoko area of Ondo State.

According to a report monitored on OSRC TV, Toyin, a native of Ajowa in Akoko North West Local Government area of Ondo State was said to be traveling from Abuja when the incident happened.

A source in the community narrated that the deceased was coming from Abuja, he got to Akunnu Akoko where he took a road linking Akunu with Efifa Ajowa but was ambushed by the bandits at Ago Jinadu.

While the driver was gunned down while attempting to escape , two of the passengers escaped from the scene while the whereabouts of others are still unknown as at the time of filing this report.
