The first leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play off between Ghana and Nigeria ended goalless at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles put up a decent performance in front of a packed arena to deny Ghana of every advantage as they return home for the second leg in Abuja on Tuesday.
In other CAF play off matches, Tunisia got the better of Mali in Bamako with a slim 1-0 win just as Algeria stunned Cameroon by a lone goal in Douala.
Egypt also beat African Champions Senegal by a goal to nill while the game between DR Congo and Morocco ended 1-1.
All the return legs of the five play off games are scheduled for Tuesday.
