HOW LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS MINISTRY AKURE CELEBRATED 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH PRAISES AND TESTIMONIES
They all converged on the church auditorium at Shagari Village in Akure the Ondo State capital from different parts of the country to give thanks to God for being the church since the last ten years.
The event had in attendance spiritual fathers of the Shepherd-in-Charge, Revd Ajibola Fagboyegun and his wife, Revd(Mrs) Adeola Fagboyegun.
Naijaparrots reporter, Ademola Kunlere who witnessed the ceremony said Bishop Elijah Bankole who ordained the duo about two decades ago and other respected men of God were in attendance.
Family members from Uso in Owo local government area of Ondo State where the Shepherd-in-Charge hails from were led by his mother while the siblings and family members of Mummy Shepherd from Ikoro-Ekiti in Ekiti State were led by Deaconess Adenike Awe of the JBC Adetola Dynasty.
The Olori Olowa of Igbara-Oke, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede led representatives from the community to the gathering.
The theme for this year’s Anniversary is Empowered by the Holy Spirit.
It was a celebration galore as
members of the church as well as guests joined in the celebration as the choir rendered melodious songs.
Several Presentations from the Students of Fagboyegun groups of school, Children, Teenager as well as the women of the church also rented the air.
The Shepherd-in-Charge of the Ministry, Reverend Ajibola Fagboyegun and Wife appreciated God for his faithfulness throughout the existence of the church, while calling on believers to live holy to experience the favour of God.
He admonished Christian faithful to be steadfast in their service to God to experience the touch of the holy spirit.
The 21-day events to mark the 10th anniversary was ended with special thanksgiving service while members and their guests were treated to sumptuous meal.
