IMBIBE THE VIRTUES OF PEACE, LOVE, SACRIFICE AND FORGIVENESS – DELE PHILIPS CHARGES CHRISTIANS
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips has tasked Christians to continue to imbibe the virtues of peace, love, sacrifice and forgiveness as they celebrate Easter.
Philips rejoiced with Christians in the state as he described Easter Celebration as the climax of Christian faith.
A statement by his Media Aide, Iyiola Adetola said the party leader also described Easter as a unique festival period where sorrow turns joy and hopelessness to glory through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philips called on the people of the state to continue to support the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji by being peaceful and law-abiding, noting that development could only take place in a peaceful environment.
The party Chieftain commended the peaceful co-existence being witnessed among religious groups in the state, urging them to continue to sustain the trend and improve on it.
