‘JAPA’: CLERGYMAN ADEBOLA OGUNMOLA CALLS ON GOVERNMENT TO STEM TIDE
The Pastor-in-charge of St. David Adegbule Anglican Church, Odo Owa, Idanre, Rev’d Bola Ogunmola has charged Nigerians to become righteous, fear God and follow His ways to avoid problems in the country.
During his sermon titled, “Following the leading of God” as part of the church’s first Sunday of the year and thanksgiving service, the cleric lamented that Nigerians were being pushed to travel abroad where they live under very bad situations because “our leaders are dishonest and squandering our resources.”
He condemned the legal system which allows the rich thieves to escape justice while petty ones who steal loaves of bread are sentenced to long jail terms, saying such abominations and aberrations should be redressed so that refreshing time can come and the impending tough time could be averted.
He warned the congregation which included His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) . Frederick Aroloye, Arubiefin IV(JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land, his Oloris, Prince Benson Ibukun Aroloye, Chief Akinuli Akinkuowo, (Sasere-elect) that if Nigerian leaders do not allow God to start leading them, there is going to be hard time in the year.
