ONDO GOVERNORSHIP POLL: SPECIAL ADVISER ON ENERGY, ALABI COMMENDS PEACEFUL CONDUCT
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy, Engr. (Dr.) Johnson Alabi, has praised the peaceful and efficient conduct of the long-awaited gubernatorial election held across Ondo State today.
After casting his vote in his hometown, Supare-Akoko, Engr. Alabi expressed satisfaction with the smooth running of the election process, emphasizing that it was conducted without hitches. He noted that the process reinforced public confidence in the ability to choose their preferred candidates.
Results from the units in his hometown were as follows:
Unit 13, Ward 10, Supare: APC – 377, PDP – 39
Unit 17, Ward 10, Supare: APC – 86, PDP – 6
Engr. Alabi commended voters for their peaceful conduct and enthusiastic participation, recognizing their commitment to electing the right candidate for sustained progress in the Sunshine State.
However, he appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enhance the performance of the BVAS (Bimodal Voter Accreditation System), expressing concerns about the device’s slow operation during the exercise.
