The Cocoa Farmers Alliance of Africa has acknowledged the various interventions of the International Cocoa Organisation and World Cocoa Foundation in development of the trade as well as improvement of farmers’ livelihoods in the continent.
The Association also commended both organizations for their invaluable contributions to African cocoa farmers economy and the global cocoa industry sustainability.
According to a statement signed by key officials of COFAAA across African continent and made public the tireless efforts of the organisations have driven stability, sustainability, governance and progress, profoundly improving the lives of countless farmers, strengthening communities’ development, and fueling economic growth.

Meanwhile, the official launch of COFAAA in Nigeria has been slated for Tuesday February 12th.
According to the President and global coordinator, Comrade Adeola Adegoke, the event will hold at NUT Guest House, SAMODA, Ibadan in Oyo State.
