ONDO PDP GREETS CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL AT EASTER
…urges the Government to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ
The Peoples Democratic Party Ondo State Chapter extends its warm felicitations to the Christian brethren for marking yet another wonderful Easter celebration in honour of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The party invites the faithful to reflect on the enormous love, compassion, empathy, perseverance, and the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus Christ made to save the world from eternal perdition, and thus the need for them to also imbibe and live by these great virtues to make their world a safe and secure place.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity, Leye Igbabo “our party duly notes the excruciating pains, severe anguish, and devastation to which the people have been subjected due to criminal neglect and sheer irresponsiveness of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and calls on the government at the state and federal levels to follow the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ by prioritizing the needs of the people far above their self-serving interest”.
“The party equally draws a spectacular lesson from the indifference of the people for whom the Lord Jesus was dying, to the extent that He was despised and abandoned in His hour of need by the same people. But at the end of the day, these people greatly acknowledged the amazing work of redemption which the Lord Jesus Christ painfully but religiously executed to the adoration of His Father’s name”.
“As a Party, we receive the strength and key into this uncommon love of God as exemplified by our Lord Jesus Christ as we continue with the hope of restoring good governance in Ondo State”.
