ONDO BEGINS INVESTIGATION INTO IDOGUN CRISIS AS PANEL CALLS FOR MEMORANDA FROM STAKEHOLDERS
The Administrative Panel of Inquiry on the communal crisis in Idogun in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State has invited memoranda from the general public, particularly indigenes and other interested stakeholders who could be affected by the decision of the panel.
In a Statement signed by the Panel’s Secretary, Mr Oladele Adesanmi, the Panel’s Chairman, Barr. Idowu Mafimisebi said “this is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide information relating to the crisis”.
Mafimisebi said the Memoranda which should be submitted in ten (10) copies,must be accompanied by a written statement on oath from a High Court in Ondo State .
According to him, the Memoranda should be Submitted to
Office of the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,
Alagbaka, Akure.
All memoranda in his words must be submitted on or before Friday 21st November, 2025.
For other relevant information and inquiries, Barr. Mafimisebi said stakeholders should contact Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministy of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alagbaka, Akure.
While promising that the Panel will deliver on the mandate given it, Barr. Mafimisebi sought for the cooperation of stakeholders to put an end to the crises.
