…Canvasses Support For Governor Oyebanji’s Second Term Bid
A leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Dele Philips has felicitated Christians in the state as they celebrate Easter.
Dele Phillips said it is a period to reflect on the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for humanity.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Iyiola Adetola and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the Aramoko-Ekiti-born politician and business man preached peace and unity of Ekiti citizens both home and abroad.
“I heartily felicitate and congratulate the entire Christian Community in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 and the state at large on the occasion of this year’s Easter Celebration”.
“As we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the power of sacrifice,love, and redemption”.
“It is a time to rise above our challenges, strengthen our faith, and embrace unity as Ekiti people and a Nation”.
“I encourage all and sundry to continue to abide with the golden rule of Jesus Christ – “Love Your Neighbours As Yourself” , so as to continue to safeguard peaceful coexistence and good neighbourliness in our homes, offices, organisations and Nation”.
Dele Philips also used the opportunity to canvass support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the governorship election approaches.
He stated that the governor has convinced the people that he means well and therefore deserves a second term in office.
