AAUA VC OBAMUYI FELICITATES PRINCE ROTIMI IBIDAPO ON HIS BIRTHDAY
The Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Prof. Tomola Obamuyi, has sent hearty congratulations to an Owo-born notable philanthropist and community leader, Prince Rotimi Ibidapo, OON, on his birthday.
In a birthday message made available on Monday, September 28, 2026, Prof. Obamuyi described the businessman and Aare Atunluse of Owo as a man whose philanthropic gestures and contributions to different facets of life in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the Aare Akile of Yoruba Land (Ile-Ife) is famous for lending helping hands to private individuals, military and paramilitary forces, educational institutions, and research centres.
While praying for a healthy, long and prosperous life for the oil and gas magnate, Prof. Obamuyi noted that Prince Ibidapo has touched countless lives by leaving lasting impacts and fond memories in the hearts of many.
He described Prince Ibidapo as a man whose humility, generosity and heart for humanity have earned him the respect and goodwill of many residents of Ondo State and beyond.
The AAUA Vice Chancellor saluted the impactful life of the distinguished Owo son and illustrious son of the Sunshine State that has earned him national and state recognitions as Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) by President Muhammadu Buhari, and Ondo State Man of the Year in 2014.
