ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS’ FORUM CONGRATULATES NEW ONDO HEAD OF SERVICE, URGES KEY REFORMS
The Ondo State Administrative Officers’ Forum has extended its warmest congratulations to the newly appointed Ondo State Head of Service, Chief Segun Odusanya.
The forum, consisting of senior administrative officers across various government Ministries, Extra-Ministerial Departments and Agencies, expressed its confidence in Chief Odusanya’s leadership and vision for the future of Ondo State Public Service.
Addressing journalists in Akure, the Chairman of the Forum, Rev’d Olorunisomo Ogunlade, highlighted Chief Odusanya’s extensive experience and dedication to public service, stating, “We believe that under his guidance, the public service will not only thrive but also adapt to the evolving needs of our state.
”We are sure he will focus on elevating the standards of governance, enhance employee welfare programmes, and streamline bureaucratic processes. The Administrative Officers Forum looks forward to working closely with him to achieve these ambitious goals, marking a new chapter in public service reform that promises to benefit both employees and the general public alike.
”This congratulatory gesture not only reaffirms the forum’s commitment to collaboration but also sets a positive tone for transformative changes in the public sector under the new HoS”, he said.
He further emphasized the importance of aligning government policies with the welfare of workers, urging the new Head of Service to prioritize reforms that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery.
The Forum unanimously agreed on the pressing need for significant reforms aimed at modernizing administrative processes, improving service delivery, and ensuring fair treatment of all government workers. He noted that members of the Forum would remain supportive to the Head of Service as he embarks on this crucial task, outlining a collective commitment to collaborate on initiatives that foster a robust and responsive government.
This forum also appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for the appointment as well as provision of an enabling environment for workers in the state.
