AMIDU TAKURO CHARGES COUNCIL CHAIRMEN ON EFFICIENT SERVICE DELIVERY
…As Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy Affairs Inspected Projects in Ifedore LGA
The Ondo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro has embarked on a comprehensive tour of the Ifedore Local Government Area, where he inspected critical infrastructure projects and assessed the performance of the council under the leadership of Chairman Dipo Ajibola.
The visit which took the commissioner through the solar-powered secretariat and various project sites across the local government reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to grassroots development.
Addressing the commissioner and his entourage at the council secretariat, the chairman expressed deep appreciation to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for providing an enabling environment that has empowered the local government to record significant achievements.
In his response, Alhaji Takuro commended the chairman for his sense of humility and dedication to the service of Ifedore residents, stating that news from the local government has been encouraging.
He expressed happiness that the local government is keying into the “Our Ease” Agenda of the Aiyedatiwa administration by focusing on projects that have a direct impact on the people.
The commissioner also lauded the council bureaucrats for their support, emphasizing the Governor’s insistence on performance and development at the grassroots and assured that more projects would be rolled out in the coming weeks.
The commissioner inspected a series of completed projects, including bridges at Isarun, Ipogun, Araromi, and a culvert at Owode community in Ijare.
He also inspected solar-powered street lights installed in Isarun and Ilara Mokin, designed to boost security and commerce in the area.
At Ajebamidele, the commissioner inspected a solar-powered water supply project, advising that signposts be erected at every project site for identification and publicity purposes.
The tour also took the commissioner to an open market stalls at Ilara Mokin, which is equipped with a public toilet and a solar-powered water supply system.
According to a statement signed by Adeleke Alade and sighted by Naijaparrots.com on social media, the commissioner and the chairman paid courtesy visits to the monarchs of Ajibamidele and Araromi who commended Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his generosity to traditional rulers and pledged their continued support for his administration and the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections.
