APC PRIMARIES: SUNSHINE PROGRESSIVE COALITION BACKS FASORANTI, KOMOLAFE, URGES PEACEFUL PARTICIPATION
The Convener of Sunshine Progressive Coalition, Mr. Bode Famose, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and eligible voters in Ondo State to support credible aspirants in the forthcoming party primaries, urging members to maintain peace and unity throughout the exercise.
Speaking on behalf of members of the coalition, Famose appealed to party faithfuls to conduct themselves responsibly before, during and after the primaries, stressing that the success of the APC depends largely on internal harmony and collective commitment to democratic principles.
He specifically canvassed support for Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the preferred candidate to represent Ondo Central Senatorial District, describing him as a seasoned and competent leader with the experience and vision needed to provide quality representation and attract meaningful development to the district.
Famose also endorsed Barrister Tope Komolafe for the Ondo State House of Assembly seat representing Ifedore Constituency, noting that his grassroots connection, leadership qualities and dedication to public service including meaningful representation at the floor of the State House of Assembly make him suitable for the position.
According to him, unity of purpose remains critical for the APC ahead of future electoral contests, particularly the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. He urged party leaders and supporters across the state to close ranks and work together in sustaining the party’s dominance and progressive agenda.
The coalition convener further encouraged residents of Ondo State to take advantage of the final window of the ongoing voter registration exercise, emphasizing that participation in the electoral process remains the most effective way for citizens to shape the future of governance and ensure their voices are heard at the polls.
