DEMOCRACY DAY: ONDO APC CENTRAL SENATORIAL CANDIDATE DR TAIWO FASORANTI PREACHES NATIONAL UNITY
As Nigeria marks this year’s Democracy Day, the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, has urged Nigerians to keep defending democratic values and promoting national unity.
In a statement in Akure, the state capital, the immediate past Secretary to the State Government described the June 12 election as a watershed in the history of the nation.
According to him, it was the day Nigerians rose in one voice to fight for a free and fair democratic process.
Dr. Fasoranti urges Nigerians, especially citizens of Ondo Central Senatorial District and the state in general to uphold the ideals of democracy to justify the objectives of the celebration.
The Senatorial Candidate expressed happiness that the leaderships of the state and Nigeria are justifying the confidence reposed in them.
Dr. Fasoranti highlights the impact of the Aiyedatiwa administration in the state in various sectors while also initiating programmes and policies that have rekindled the hope of the people in democratic rule.
The Akure-born medical practitioner also commended President Bola Tinubu for the numerous Infrastructural interventions as well as prioritising the welfare of the people.
Fasoranti therefore urged Nigerians to keep supporting the leadership and ensure peaceful co-existence to keep attracting dividends of democracy to the people.
