FIRST OTAKIKPO MIDSTREAM LTD JOINS NIGERIANS TO CELEBRATE 66TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY
As Nigeria marks the 66th independence anniversary, the First Otakikpo Midstream Limited has joined citizens globally to commemorate the anniversary.
In a post made public on its social media handles, the company reflected on the success stories recorded in the oil and gas industry, noting that there is hope of a brighter future in the industry.
First Otakikpo Midstream Limited operates a 12-million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) modular LPG extraction plant located in Ikuru town in Andoni local government area of Rivers State.
First Otakikpo Midstream Limited is also the First LPG extraction plant in Nigeria.
The Managing Director, Barrister Olusegun Ilori said the company has succeeded in solving the various challenges being faced in the sector by involving all relevant stakeholders in the task of contributing to the nation’s economy.
He attributed the progress being made to the enabling environment and policies put in place by President Bola Tinubu.
Barrister Ilori assured that all structures and processes would continue to be put in place to encourage local participation and involvement of stakeholders for productive operations.
The Managing Director congratulated the staff and management of the company as well as the entire citizens on the occasion of the 66th independence anniversary.
Ilori also prayed for more positive developments in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria, expressing the hope of breaking new grounds as the nation forges ahead.
