FORMER ONDO INFORMATION SERVICES DIRECTOR, JIDE AKADIRI FOR BURIAL FRIDAY
The remains of a former Director of Information Services in the Ondo State Ministry of Information, Pa Olajide Akadiri would be committed to mother earth on Friday in Akure.
According to the programme of events made public by the family, Service of Songs would be held on Thursday at Dele Akinluyi Street, at the Sijuwade area of Akure while funeral service has been slated for the same venue on Friday.
This would be followed by interment as the same venue while guests are to be hosted at Ruby’s Court in the state capital.
The event is expected to have in attendance media practitioners of repute and veterans, especially from the Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
Staff of the ministry of information where Pa Jide Akadiri served as a journalist and retired as Director of Information Services are also expected to pay their last respect to the late veteran media practitioner.
