Frontline House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Bamidele Philips has felicitated all workers in Nigeria, particularly Ekiti State and described their contributions to the economy of the Fountain of Knowledge and the nation as patriotic and outstanding.
The International Business Mogul who is a leading contestant for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency Two comprising Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero Local Government Areas made this known in a statement signed his Media Aide, Iyiola Oluborode and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti the state capital.
The House of Representatives hopeful described workers as critical stakeholders in nation building and also acknowledged their contributions to the socio-economic and political development of the country.
While applauding their perseverance, patriotism selfless service and dedication, Mr. Dele Phillips called on workers to uphold and sustain best global practices in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities.
“As we mark this year’s Workers’ Day, all workers in the state should be proud that their significant contributions have kept the state moving forward”, he stressed.
The award-winning international player in hospitality industry charged the workers to sustain their support for Governor Kayode Fayemi and expressed hope for a more improved governance when the APC candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji eventually wins the June governorship election.
