It was glitz and glamour in Egosi Kingdom in Oke Ero local government area of Kwara State as the National Legal Adviser of the Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association, Barrister Ronke Bolarinwa-Adeyemi was honoured with the chieftancy title of Yeyemofin of Egosi Kingdom.
The occasion attracted the creme de la crème of legal giants from within and outside the state as the Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti family was not left out.
It was not only a display of culture and tradition but also an avenue for friends , family and colleagues to identify with the new Yeyemofin of the kingdom.
Performing the ceremony, the Paramount ruler of Egosi Kingdom, HRM Oba Daniel A. Dada, Atobatele Adetulurese 1, the recognition is in line with the policy of the palace to encourage those who contribute to the society.
In his words, “our darling Yeyemofin Ronke Bolarinwa-Adeyemi has always justified the confidence reposed in her as a legal practitioner and a promoter of peace, fairness and justice in the Society”.
In her response, the Yeyemofin of Egosi Kingdom, Chief (Mrs) Ronke Bolarinwa-Adeyemi described the honour as a challenge to do more for the society both as a legal practitioner and Community leader.
She appreciated friends, family members as well as the Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti Community for identifying with her on the special occasion.
