GREEN ENERGY INT’L LTD JOINS NIGERIANS TO COMMEMORATE JUNE 12 ANNIVERSARY
As Nigeria marks this year’s June 12 celebrations, the Green Energy International Limited has joined the nation to commemorate the occasion.
GEIL is the operator of Otakikpo Marginal Field in Andoni local government area of Rivers State.
In a post made public on its social media handles, the Chairman, Pastor(Prof) Anthony Adegbulugbe urged all stakeholders to play their part in protecting democracy.
Prof Adegbulugbe described June 12 as a symbol of the will of the people, their determination to get justice and the hope of a democratic society.
The Chairman urged Nigerians to keep defending democratic values and promoting national unity.
Prof. Adegbulugbe commended those who fought for a free and fair democratic process, especially late Chief M.K.O Abiola whose victory became the turning point in the nation’s democratic journey.
