A chieftain of APC in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips
has expressed the hope that 2023 would be a year of new hope for Nigeria and Nigerians, saying it’s a fresh start to a great success.
Philips in a statement by his media Aide, Iyiola Adetola urged Nigerians to use the new year to renew their commitment to collective prosperity, growth and development by contributing more to nation building and shunning all forms of negative tendencies.
The party leader also congratulated the people of the Ekiti State as he urged them to continue to support the government of Biodun Oyebanji.
He expressed confidence in efforts put in place by Oyebanji administration to continue to impact positively on the lives of the people of Ekiti State.
“As Nigerians, our unique strength and character to overcome our challenges collectively have never been in doubt, what we need now more than ever is to galvanise these unique qualities for the good of all as permissible under a democratic set up.”
Philips urged Nigerians to continue to demonstrate love and exhibit compassion towards one another and extend hands of support to the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society.
“As a people, we must continue to imbibe the spirit of togetherness and love for one another. We must also support government at all levels by contributing our quota in the generation of wealth and alleviation of poverty in the land,” he said.
The APC Chieftain enjoined Nigerians to follow the path of progress by ensuring massive support for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming general election.
