OLABIMTAN CONFIDENT OF VICTORY AS RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADORS INAUGURATED IN ONDO STATE
The Ondo State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan has expressed the readiness of the group to ensure victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
This was contained in his speech at the official Inauguration of the Ambassadors in Akure the state capital.
He said the RHA has been structured to work in synergy with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all are carried along.
Olabimtan who is the immediate past Chairman of SUBEB in the state used the opportunity to highlight the various interventions of President Bola Tinubu in the area of infrastructure and the economy.
In his words, “this outreach was established to strengthen the bond between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and Nigerians, ensuring a record-breaking victory for the president’s second-term election next year.
“The national body of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors was launched a few months ago, with my humble-self appointed as the coordinator and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa serving as the chairman for Ondo State”.
“I want to sincerely appreciate my Governor and leader, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for nominating me for this position. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to him, for his unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to this cause. Under his leadership, I am confident that we will not only deliver Ondo State to PBAT again, but we will secure his second-term victory with an unprecedented margin”.
“Today, we gather not just to launch the RHA in Ondo State but also to celebrate the courage, vision and patriotism of PBAT. He has dared to take bold steps, steps others avoided for decades, all in the best interest of Nigerians and future generations”.
“You will agree with me that governance is no child’s play. Previous administrations adopted a reactionary approach, in sharp contrast to the proactive steps taken by the current government. By implementing long-term, goal-oriented strategies, this government has moved beyond reactive policymaking and is proactively addressing the nation’s complex challenges and seizing opportunities. This strategic approach lies at the heart of the Tinubu-led administration”.
“PBAT has proven himself to be a purposeful leader, prepared for the challenges of governance. When he took office, the economy was not only in disarray but also operating at a deficit, with governments at all levels struggling to meet financial obligations. Today, though we are not yet where we want to be, we are far from where we were”.
“Under PBAT’s leadership, we have seen significant progress in the economy, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment. The administration has launched massive infrastructure projects, including over 400 ongoing roadworks nationwide, such as the Lagos-Calabar Superhighway passing through Ondo State. Investor confidence in the Nigerian economy is soaring, and the economy is diversifying, with solid minerals playing a pivotal role. The government’s educational loan policy has enrolled over a million students, and Nigerians now receive their international passports within a week. The era of long queues at fuel stations is finally behind us!”
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is already yielding visible results. Every well-meaning observer can see the positive outcomes, except, of course, the naysayers. The greatest disservice we can do to ourselves is to allow our opponents or detractors to define our narrative”.
“The RHA is a child of necessity, created to bridge the communication gap between the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the people of Nigeria. It is a well-known fact that when falsehoods are allowed to go unchecked, they can easily be misconstrued as truth”.
“The RHA is a nationwide initiative designed to educate Nigerians about the federal government’s reforms and opportunities under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. This outreach program seeks to raise public awareness about ongoing government interventions, ensuring that all Nigerians are informed about the opportunities available to them”.
“In the words of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ outreach is not a ceremonial structure but a civic engagement and enlightenment architecture — a bridge between policy formulation and public understanding. The RHA outreach is to translate reform into relatable language, counter misinformation with facts, and ensure two-way communication between citizens and government”.
He said “the 25-member unit and 400-member ward canvassers will be inaugurated later to join the crusade of propagating the good work of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the state”.
“The RHA is a vital strategy for mobilizing grassroots support for PBAT. With numerous policies, programs, and projects to showcase, we have a strong foundation to build on. Things are already improving, and they will continue to get better”.
Olabimtan used the opportunity to highlight the various components of the RHA, noting that Pillar One structure would operate at zonal, state, local government, ward, and polling unit levels while Pillar Two involves Government information machinery led by Commissioners for Information and supported by media units across ministries.
He added that Pillar Three would have Party structures — APC state chairmen, secretaries, youth and women leaders, ward and polling unit executives, saying the objective is synergy — not competition.
“The Renewed Hope Ambassadors are amplifiers, not alternatives. Commissioners are custodians of state governments’ narrative discipline. Party executives are guardians of ideological coherence and membership growth. Progressive Governors are to align governance delivery with mobilisation logistics and messaging consistency. RHA is structured to collaborate effectively with both the government and party organs to ensure smooth dissemination of accurate information to Nigerians”.
“The primary goal of the RHA is to correct false narratives and shed light on the achievements of the Tinubu-led administration. The core objective is to disseminate accurate information from the federal government to the people while also channeling structured feedback from the grassroots back to the government”.
“The RHA Project will play a critical role in party outreach and mobilization, strengthening connections within the All Progressives Congress (APC). This network will ensure unity within the party, promote consistent messaging, and help elected officials engage effectively with their communities by providing reliable information about federal programs”.
“The RHA is designed to engage the grassroots actively, helping citizens understand the tangible results of the sacrifices we made alongside PBAT in the last three years, and show them how they can benefit from the opportunities available to them”.
“This initiative will serve as a functional governance interface, facilitating two-way communication: delivering government information to the grassroots while bringing feedback from communities back to relevant authorities”.
“The APC values the sacrifices, tolerance, and support of Nigerians. The RHA is an extension of the APC, created to re-orient Nigerians and remind them that we will never return to the days of fuel scarcity, unpaid salaries, or prolonged strikes in our universities. Those days are gone, and we must continue building on the visible success we’ve achieved”.
“Therefore, it is not by happenstance that our Governor, His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, declared Ondo State for PBAT and charged the members of the RHA in the state to spread the message of the president’s achievements. We must ensure that both the young and the elderly know that the foundation for a better future is being laid by the Tinubu-led administration. We cannot afford to regress”.
He stated that “Renewed Hope Ambassadors will lead public enlightenment campaigns and citizen engagement initiatives across Ondo State. We will host town-hall meetings, roadshows, market visits, faith-based community engagements, stakeholder forums, and neighborhood dialogues, translating federal government initiatives into accessible and practical information for citizens. These activities will combat misinformation, promote understanding, and encourage active civic participation”.
“The RHA’s one message, one direction, one coordinated mobilisation framework is anchored on facts, measurable progress, and national interest. The reform courage of the Tinubu-led administration must be matched by communication discipline. Governance results must be explained, defended, internalized, and owned at all levels”, the Coordinator added.
