OLABIMTAN: ONDO REMAINS A SOLID STRONGHOLD FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU
…Says the state is determined to sustain its overwhelming support for President
The Ondo State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, has reaffirmed the unwavering support of the people of Ondo State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT), expressing confidence that the President’s transformational agenda, coupled with the grassroots mobilisation efforts of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, will deliver an unprecedented victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election.
Olabimtan stated that the Ondo State chapter of the RHA is strategically structured and fully mobilised to showcase the achievements of the Tinubu administration to the electorate. According to him, President Tinubu has done enough to earn the trust and continued support of Nigerians, particularly the people of Ondo State.
He highlighted the administration’s efforts in job creation, infrastructure development, education, and social welfare, noting that these initiatives have positively impacted millions of Nigerians.
In a statement personally signed by him, Olabimtan also dismissed concerns that the current intra-party disagreements within the APC could affect the party’s electoral fortunes in Ondo State. He maintained that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors would continue to bridge the communication gap between the Renewed Hope Agenda and the people by promoting a better understanding of the administration’s policies and achievements.
The statement read in part:
“Sustainable democracy is not about having our way at all times; it is about making compromises where necessary. Differences in interests are inevitable in every political organisation. What distinguishes the APC is its ability to resolve such disagreements through established internal mechanisms. I am therefore confident that the current misunderstandings within the party will neither diminish our strength nor affect our electoral prospects. The party’s conflict resolution process has already been activated, and the issues will soon become a thing of the past.”
Speaking on the preparedness of the RHA, Olabimtan said:
“The Ondo State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors is leaving no stone unturned in its determination to secure a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid. Our structure consists of 25 ambassadors in every polling unit, a 400-member ward team in every ward, a coordinator in each ward, and a coordinator in every Local Government Area across Ondo State.”
He further commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who also serves as the Ondo State Chairman of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, for providing the leadership and support needed to strengthen the organisation.
“Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has put the necessary structures and support in place to enhance the effectiveness of the RHA in Ondo State. With what we have on ground, victory is not only assured but will amount to a landslide affirmation of President Tinubu’s achievements and his commitment to building a better future for Nigerians, especially the younger generation.”
Olabimtan stressed that the people of Ondo State remain appreciative of the President’s commitment to the state’s development.
“The people of Ondo State are not ungrateful. We will express our appreciation through our votes for President Tinubu’s positive disposition towards our state, including the appointment of three ministers from Ondo State and the certification of the Olokola Deep Seaport.”
He also cited several achievements of the Tinubu administration, including ongoing economic reforms, major infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway traversing Ondo State, the Student Loan Scheme benefiting over one million Nigerian students, improvements in passport processing, and youth empowerment initiatives.
“The Tinubu administration has recorded significant milestones in economic management, infrastructure development, education, and youth empowerment. These achievements demonstrate a clear commitment to national development. A successful first term deserves the opportunity to consolidate its gains.”
Olabimtan recalled that President Tinubu secured 67.14 percent of the votes cast in Ondo State during the 2023 presidential election and expressed confidence that the state would not only maintain but further strengthen its position as one of the President’s strongest support bases in the country.
He concluded by urging the people of Ondo State to sustain their support for President Tinubu, noting that continuity would ensure the consolidation of ongoing reforms and development programmes in critical sectors such as education, infrastructure, economic growth, and youth empowerment.
