OLABIMTAN RALLIES APC MEMBERS FOR TINUBU, HAILS FEDERAL SUPPORT FOR ONDO
The Ondo State Director General and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, has called on All Progressives Congress (APC) members across the state to turn out in large numbers on Saturday to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the party’s primary election, describing it as a crucial step in consolidating the gains of the Tinubu administration.
Olabimtan emphasized the need to sustain the achievements of the current government, which he said have positively impacted the nation’s economy, infrastructure, and youth development programs.
He highlighted the administration’s proactive measures to create jobs, improve road networks, and expand access to education and social services, noting that these initiatives have brought tangible improvements to communities in Ondo State.
He also praised the president for federal government’s positive disposition directly benefiting Ondo State, including three key ministerial appointments from the state and the certification of Olokola Deep Seaport.
The seaport, Olabimtan noted, is a strategic project aimed at curbing the diversion of Nigerian ships to neighboring countries and enhancing the state’s role in national and regional trade.
In a statement personally signed by him, Olabimtan urged APC members to join hands with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in bridging the communication gap between the president’s “renewed hope” agenda and the general public, ensuring that citizens fully understand the administration’s vision and ongoing initiatives.
The statement read in parts. “The Tinubu-led administration has recorded significant achievements in economic management, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment. Major road projects, such as the Lagos–Calabar superhighway passing through Ondo State, educational loans benefiting over one million students nationwide, and more efficient passport processing systems, are clear evidence of the administration’s commitment to progress. One successful term deserves another.”
Olabimtan also recalled that President Tinubu secured 67.14% of the votes in Ondo State during the 2023 presidential election and urged APC members to aim for even higher support in the upcoming primary. “Tomorrow’s primary is more than just a party exercise; it is the foundation for the president’s second-term bid. All APC members must come out in their numbers to give him a resounding endorsement and show that Ondo State remains steadfast in supporting good governance,” he said.
He concluded by reiterating that continued support for the president would ensure the sustainability of policies and programs that have directly benefited the people, particularly in education, infrastructure, economic growth, and youth empowerment.
