ONDO REPS ASPIRANT DARAMOLA ALLEGED OF EVADING MANDATORY NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE
A Socio-cultural group, Ondo South Agenda has alleged a house of representatives aspirant in Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency, Olumuyiwa Daramola of evading mandatory National Youth Service Scheme.
In a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the group, Egbuwalo, the group alleged that even though it had questioned the academic records of the aspirant, there is also no record on his profile that he undertook the mandatory national service.

He alleged that Daramola has publicly represented that he holds a PhD degree while however he is allegedly no longer able to present a secondary school certificate to INEC.

He said “in any event, the law requires him to demonstrate that he has completed the national service”.
“Section 2 of the National Youth Service Act provides:

(b) if, at the end of the academic year 1974–75 or, as the case may be, at the end of that or any subsequent year, he has graduated from any university outside Nigeria”, the statement added.
