OWA OF IDANRE LAND, OBA FREDERICK AROLOYE JOINS ANCESTORS
***Oba Aroloye led his people for 48 years having ascended the throne in 1976
His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, (JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Idanre land has joined his ancestors.
Reports from the palace say the ancient traditional authority passed on Tuesday during a brief illness.
Oba Aroloye led his people for Forty -eight years after ascending the throne in 1976 during which notable development, progress and numerous transformational innovations were evolved to make Idanre what it is today.
He will be remembered for his passionate love of his people, fairness, impartial judgements, promotion of culture and tradition of his people and above all, his fear of God.
According to High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, the Lisa of Idanre land and traditional Prime Minister of the town who broke the news at Owa’s palace, necessary traditional rites are already being put in place.
