UDIROKO FESTIVAL: TOURISM PROMOTER JIDE FAJUYI HOLDS ADVENTUROUS WEEKEND TO HERALD ADO-EKITI ANNUAL EVENT
An Ekiti-born culture and tourism promoter, Babajide Fajuyi has announced weekend of events to herald the annual Udiroko Festival in Ado-Ekiti.
In a statement sighted by Naijaparrots.com tags the events
“Experience the Spirit of Adventure in Ado-Ekiti” as it will commence on Friday August 14th and ends on Sunday August 16th, 2026.
According to the statement, the events will begin with
Mountain Camping on Olóta Mountain where adventurers pitch tent, enjoy an evening around the campfire and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts as well as stargaze and wake up to a spectacular mountain sunrise.
On Saturday 15th, August
Urban Mountain Hiking & Hikers’ Summit Feast will hold on Olóta Mountain trail.
It will also feature a festive summit gathering with refreshments, music, networking, fun games, photography, and breathtaking panoramic views of Ado-Ekiti.
And on Sunday 16th August, there will be a City Tour of Ado-Ekiti to explore the city’s unique heritage, history, culture, architecture, local cuisine and iconic attractions with expert guides.
In an interview with the organiser, Babajide Fajuyi, the three days will feature endless memories.
He urged interested participants to join the adventure and experience the beauty, culture, and adventure that make Ado-Ekiti truly unforgettable.
Fajuyi assured that the brand name, VisitEkiti has put in place required structures and processes to have befitting outings.
